This post is going to show you the way to get the URL from the website you are accessing and interacting with. With just a simple setup, RPA CLOUD robot will help you do this whenever you need.
Get ready with me!
Build the “Get URL” action
For example, you are on the Amazon website, and you want to get the URL of this website. Follow the steps below to make the RPA CLOUD robot understand and help you do this task.
In the first step, you need to open the website you want to work on and visit with the Open Browser action, such as the Amazon website. The sequence of steps is as shown below.
In this step, I have instructed in the Open Browser post, you can review it.
Next, you select the Get URL action, and then drag and drop it to the center of the screen to create the next action.
In step 3, you click on the gear icon to open the Get URL box and fill in the 2 boxes.
1. Output key: You choose where you want to store the results you get from the Get URL action.
2. Browser: Choose the website you want to get the URL from. In case you open multiple websites, each website will have its own number, for example “$browser_1”.
3. Finally, you click on the “Save” button to save this action.
That’s it. So you have successfully built the Get URL action so that your robot can help you get the URL from the website you are viewing.
